Saints Transmission: Act like the Child and Love Follows

Act like a Child; Usher Peace in the World:

ST: I'm currently reading Rhonda Byrne's new book, "The Power" which features the power of love and that when we feel love we engage in the positive side of the Law of Attraction.  Now, I recall the love that the original Franciscan friars spread upon the world and how they were rewarded with donations of food, shelter, and even a mountain retreat.  Can you tell us how you went about practicing the Law of Attraction even if you didn't call it that?

Saint Francesco/Chiara: We sang and danced a lot.  Not the type of dancing you would find at a country fair or a secular gathering.  We danced for the joy of it and sang to spread the news about Jesus' and Mary's love for the world.  But we also sang to all the creatures and the earth itself.  We sang and gave hope through stories to the poor and the sick.  By doing all these things we weren't just talking about love, but acting upon love.  We walked our talk, dance and sang it too.

So you ask us how we manifested charity for ourselves and the poor and we respond by telling you that WE WERE FOOLS FOR LOVE. We still are.  We believe that love is the key that fits the door of desire.  Oh, I know what you're thinking, how can Catholic saints use the word "desire"? Well, it depends on what you desire now doesn't it? If you desire world peace, harmony for your community, love for your neighbor, food for the hungry, and good health for every being in the universes and galaxies then how can that be a sin?

Also you have read in Rhonda's book (which we had some part in helping her write), that when you celebrate someone else's success, you celebrate your own. When you celebrate someone's new job, higher income, surprise check in the mail, new relationship, renewed relationship or healing from a disease, you make room in your life for those good and blessed things and events to enter.  Don't let jealousy or envy (real sins) ground you and keep you wallowing in negativity.

When you visit other people's blogs, websites, etc and leave uplifting messages, you uplift those folks and lift the vibration on the planet. (If you have the money, make donations too).  Every kind deed performed, random or otherwise also lifts the vibration on the planet. But when you do these deeds don't expect any returns, at least not from the person you gifted.  Just keep doing good in the world, and good will come to you automatic. And when those good things and blessings come your way, don't forget to give thanks. Show gratitude and share your bounty with others.

In fact, if you want to transform the world economy, pretend that it has already improved.  Pretend and imagine the flow of prosperity rolling into your bank account and filling up your life with Divine and sustainable abundance.  I mean, don't go overboard. We're still striving for the Highest and Best for All here.  Greed isn't going to save anything or anyone.  So imagine this prosperity and abundance flowing into your life and as you receive you also give and share what you have with others.

If you have an extra dollar, give it away to someone who needs it.  Don't think, "Oh, this is my last dollar and I need it..." Guess what happens when you think that way? Yes, you're correct, you manifest that dollar as your last.  Except that you can change that thought, that belief and that pattern.  You can give the dollar away and tell yourself, "There's plenty more where that dollar came from..." And then imagine the money and prosperity arriving in truckloads.  What will you do with all that money? Will you make repairs in your community?Donate some of the money to education and healthcare? Will you start a nonprofit create a biodynamic farm? Help needy animals? Start a music festival?

I'm talking truckloads of money here and you get to do whatever good you want with it.  Imagine this and put every ounce of feeling behind it.  Stop imagining the worst possible scenarios. Stop imagining the end of the world.  Stop LIVING IN FEAR and EMBRACE LOVE right now.

Oh, you know that Chiara and I are dreamers.  We enjoy dreaming with others and gather where dreamers unite.  We enjoy watching children play and children can even see us among them.  We inspire the poet, the dancer, the songwriter, the movie maker. We inspire the cook, especially those who make Italian cuisine, rustic variety is best.  We show up at happy gatherings where people exchange joyful and funny stories.  We love humor, music, and festivities, but we also enjoy sacred moments, in cathedrals and in cathedral forests.  We enjoy hiking in mountain glens and talking with all the various creatures.  We follow butterflies and sing with birds.

This week though we want to see more smiles on your faces and hear more laughter. We want you to sing and whistle with birds and marvel and the beauty of a flower or tree.  We want you to talk to nature and tell Mother Earth how much you love and appreciate her beauty and strength.  We want you to fathom the depth of the ocean and the realm of the mountains.  Tell happy stories, play with children or watch children play.  And if you forgot how to use your imagination ask a toddler to remind you.  She or he will have no problem reminding you how to play like the child.  Animals can teach you to play too.  Watch the mother cat with her kittens or the dog with puppies.  Watch the little song birds play when they think you're not watching.

Smiles and laughter are the best medicine.  Don't watch the news this week, and don't rant, complain, gossip, or judge others.  This week is about celebrating you, love, the world as you imagine it into being.  So yes, the Law of Attraction is real.  Believe in it and you can transform the entire World.

Saints Transmission: Isis and Persephone (Ascension into the Light)

Saints Transmission: Mary Magdalene and Jeanne d'Arc (Council of Lady Saints)

ST: I've been thinking a lot about Persephone, Pluto's mistress lately.  In addition, I keep seeing images of Isis and keep reading about her.  The situation with Egypt has also brought Isis and Osiris into my consciousness.  So what's going on? Does this have to do with Pluto's transit in Capricorn? This feels like such a dark time for the earth.

Council of Lady Saints: Yes, the archetypes of Isis and Persephone will lead the way to the light.  What you're experiencing on earth is an ascension process and it's open to all souls. We reflect now on the "dark night of the soul" as Saint John of the Cross carefully worded the experience during the renaissance.  The planet, the nations on the planet are undergoing another reformation, but this time, it's less violent than previous ones.  There will be no public burning of witches and heretics this time around.  Oh, yes, we see hints of that happening, and some frightening situations happening in regard to womankind, but this really is a time of empowerment.

Pluto, a heavy-hitter as you're very much aware, has more to do with reclaiming power than death.  And you want the death of the old ways, but not the oldest ways.  The patriarchs must descend from the throne and rulership now.  Of course you can see this energy resisting, but you can also experience extreme liberation from it, but this liberation must come from a place of love and not fear.  Any protests now must be of the peaceful kind.  Violence begets violence and we don't advocate it.

And in any case, as Magdalene points out, turning the other cheek has more meanings than what you learned in religious teachings.  As you read in an earlier post, Yeshua (Jeshua, Jesus) advocates acting like a mirror or a projection to deflect the adversary's energy back to him or her.  Like a true martial artist, don't take on the energy but send it back to the sender.  Refuse to play the game of victim or martyr.  Refuse to feel so outraged that you can't think clearly.  When that happens, when you lose clarity of thought, you have lost.  You can't afford to lose yourself and your energy to another.  Name their game (which there are many), and then move on.  Whatever you do, don't engage in any mind games at this time.

So you want to know about ascension? That's what Persephone and Isis personify, along with fertility, spring bursting forth with life, birth, rebirth, and the cycle of the seasons.  Both of these women experienced great losses and grew more powerful because of them.  But the story of Persephone is incomplete without Demeter, the Goddess of Spring.  She is the one responsible for throwing the earth into darkness and stillness when Hades abducts her daughter.  Her grief resonated upon the entire earth and every creature felt it.

In Isis case, also attached to motherhood and wifehood, her husband is abducted and dismembered.  But you all know these stories.  They are etched not only in your brains, but your DNA.  Draw from the powerful energy and archetypes of these stories.  Use this symbolism to further and power your ascension process.  Because eventually you will emerge from this grief and darkness.  Spring always returns, but not without a few storms that mingle with sunny days.  You cannot have the light without the dark, but the dark doesn't need to equate with evil.  A nighttime sky is dark and beautiful with the stars and the moon coming into play.  And too much light is blinding.  We strive for balance.  Play with your shadow and dig deep into your psyche to learn your true identity, yin and yang.

Pluto in Capricorn has come to shake things up.  This is a necessary purging process and it's best to let the earth mother do her job.  We realize this is a painful time, but only painful if you hang on and insist on hanging on to the old and dying way.  Everything, we mean everthing, every kind of structure, belief, pattern, even DNA must be redesigned and rethought at this point.  Nothing you currently know or have known will remain the same.  No stone will remain unturned and the earth ascends along with you.  You believe that mountains can't move, but Mother Earth has a few surprises coming your way.

One last thing before we depart, when women and men are not living in balanced power, men are emasculated (see the symbolism of Osiris).  When men claim the power for themselves as patriarchs have done, they emasculate themselves, feel empty, then steal even more energy from others. It's a vicious cycle and no one wins.

Saints Transmission: Flip the Light Switch On

Conversation with Saint Jude:

ST: Good morning dear Jude.

Saint Jude: Good precious day to you my dear ones.

ST: I figured something out. When I judge people as sexist, racist, or worse, it's not so much the individual I'm judging, but what he or she represents and his or her cooperation with darkness on the planet.  I know Francesco (Saint Francis), would see these people as noble poor peasants, victims more or less.  Maybe they are in a way and making the best choices they can.  But I just feel annoyed and frustrated by those who choose darkness (and rub our noses in it).

SJ: My dear, you can show someone the light switch, but you can't force him or her to turn on the light. You can give them a spiritual toolkit and all the information to suffer less in the world, but darn if 90% of humans will actually employ those tools.

You mention Francesco in his infinite wisdom and compassion, but even he feels frustrated with the current state of the planet.  How could he not when a 1,000 blackbirds fall of the sky and die in a single evening? How can he not feel outraged watching the mining and blasting of Sister Mountain or Mother Earth's breasts?

And then there is your epidemic of breast cancer. It's all related! (Descrecation of the Goddess).  Women are more tied in with the earth than men.  Women have lost more over the centuries than men! Yes, you know this, but some women argue that they're doctors and lawyers now and that they can compete in a man's world.  They can even choose not to marry.  But the price you pay for these "advantages" are too high.  Breast cancer, ovarian cancer, infectious diseases transmitted through sex are the results.  This is descration of the Goddess.  Yes, I'm capitalizing Goddess.  Yeshua believed in the marriage of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. That's what he had with Magdala.

He's not a patriarch and that's the main reason he was executed, he refused to go along with the program. Oh, I could tell you much more, but at a later time.

Taking it Up a Notch; Turn Up the Volume

My dear Light Workers, your moment has arrived.  The polarities are at their most dense in this moment.  As you usher in a new calendar year, you hear about those dark ones who wish to annihilate Mother Earth with bombs.  And on the other hand, you hear about Light Workers and healers organizing worldwide love-ins in the form of group chanting with millions of souls joining hands in love.  Now, is the time to turn up the volume of love and light.  Don't allow the dark ones to sway you into anger, outrage, or other negative patterns.  This is not the time for war, but the time to lay down arms.  This is not the time to make enemies, but time to embrace the other as yourself.  This is the time for radical forgiveness.

Each and everyone of you must take your life work up a notch.  Now is not the time for contemplation, but rightful action.  If you work as an activist, that advocate for love, peace, compassion and justice, by walking this talk.  You can't promote peace when you feel anger in your heart, so transmute that anger now through prayer, through surrender to the Divine, through music, or meditation.  Carry only love and ecstasy in your hearts.  If you feel those dark feelings coming into your heart, dance, spin around, sway your hips, and force yourself to smile.  Tell yourself a joke and shift that energy into laughter.  Joy is your greatest asset.

Think of Francesco's birds in the sky, soaring and singing as they go along.  Think of the river otters playing in a murky river while raising the vibrations of that river.  Activists put smiles on your faces and get rid of those serious ugly frowns.  Don't laugh in spite, but chuckle in love.  Fall in love with the planet, don't just feel pity for it.  Fall in love with non-humans and stop pitying them and victimizing them (casting them in the role of victim).  Stop acting like victims yourself and get to know the Divine intimately.  Turn up the volume.

If you work in the arts of any kind, step away from dark stories, dark music, dark paintings, and all that dark stuff that you rationalize possesses a serious message for your fellow humans. How pretentious is that? Dark is dark and it leads to more darkness.  You can't have it both ways.  Trash all those thrillers and horror movies and books, trash all that hateful music and trash your self-righteous know-it-all attitudes.  Stop taking sides and acting like you're marching towards some crusade.  Those always end badly.

If you work as a healer, heal yourself now and stop pretening that it is you that heals others.  Remember you only facilitate healing, you don't actually heal anyone. Stop acting like you're some kind of guru to your patients, and let them know that you are a humble healer, and you cooperate with them to heal.  Empower your patients and let them know that they have the power to heal every cell in their body and you're going to teach them how to do that.  If you have the same patient six months from now and they're dealing with the same health problems, then you have failed in your attempt.  Check your ego to see if that's part of the problem. 

If you work in the food industry, beauty product industry, or any industry that sells products, stop poisoning your fellow humans, non-humans, and Mother Earth.  If you're not one of those that poisons others, then promote your cleaner product in a way that brings love to people's hearts.  If you have harmed anyone or anything then now is the time to make ammends and ask for universal forgiveness .

If you work in leadership roles, then surrender your power to The Divine.  A real leader aligns with the Divine.  A real leader never ever promotes fear as an agenda.  A real leader doesn't live in fear and put up defenses that cost tax payers billions of dollars.  A real leader doesn't promote war, start wars, or continue wars.  A real leader doesn't use missles or bombs to bring peace to the world.  This is moronic behavior and truly idiotic behavior, like a bratty child fighting with other children in a sandbox.  This is not leadership and certainly this is not mature behavior.  The Earth is not a sandbox so stop all this child's play and destroying your Mother.

Women on the planet, step it up a notch.  Stop fighting with other women, stop competing with your sisters, and stop comparing your beauty to another's.  This too is childish behavior and playtime is over, ladies.  You are the priestesses on this planet here to Usher in The Feminine Age, so get to work.  Stop all this preoccupation with the perfect dress, the perfect lipstick, and all that nonsense.  The saints don't care what you look like, we only care about what lurks in your heart.  Is anyone home? Get it together ladies and start healing yourselves of your wounds so that you can step up to the plate and usher in peace, love, and comfort.

Men on the planet, time to put away your toys and gadgets.  Get off your computers, I-Pods, etc and go find a good life coach to teach you how to love yourselves.  I'm not talking about polishing your wounded egos. I'm talking about getting in touch with your soul and the feminine side of your hearts.  Is anyone home? Get out of the car and go for a walk in the forest.  Get out of the house or apartment and reach out to those in need.  Stop complaining about the government and govern your own bratty behavior.  And most important treat all others with respect and kindness, that includes your partners and children. That includes your pets and all creatures.  Take Francesco di Assisi or the real Yeshua as your examples.  Follow Buddha if you must.  But get it together now.

So no more horsing around.  Starting now take LOVE up a notch. Turn up the volume on compassion, caring, kindness, generosity and forgiveness. No time like the present.  This is the Age of Saints.  Welcome to the pilgrimage to your Sainthood.  It won't be easy, but you're never ever alone.

Saints Transmission: Conversation with Saint Jude

Lifting Vibration through Diet and Lifestyle:

ST: What's happening to me? My nerves feel fried and I'm having trouble writing.

Saint Jude: Expect your body to resist changes happening on the planet.  After all, your body feels frightened.  It's never experienced these types of changes.  The purification process alone can be tremendously scary to the cells in your body.  So be easy on it.  Give your body lots of love and attention.  Feed it high vibrational foods (foods grown with loving intention), drink purified water and talk nicely to your body.  Self-massage, aromatherapy and rest go a long way in calming your cells and nerves.  Prayer, meditation, energy medicine, and music (healing music) need to be added to your daily regime.

ST: Yes, I do most of that, especially the music, food and vibration.  I have a question about food and vibration.  Can someone vibrating a low frequency eat high vibrational food? They seem to be addicted to low vibrational food.

SJ: Oh, my dear, what a fantastic question! Yes, addiction is low vibration. When a person breaks an addiction he or she raises their vibration. That's why yoga and meditation for instance, or music therapy are so helpful in breaking addiction or low vibration habits.  This is why AA groups prove helpful.  Yeshua provides a high vibration healing environment.

So with food, what I recommend is changing the diet slowly over time. For an omnivore, cut meat consumption out one day of the week, then two days of the week, and so on.  Eat only free range meat--it has a higher vibration.  Most of the time.  Switch right away to organically grown grains and produce and drink a lot of purified water.  Do a colon and liver cleanse with doctor or healer supervision.

ST: How do you recommend introducing body work and energy medicine?

SJ: Change the diet first and purify the body on the physical level.  Second, deal with emotional and spiritual issues--purify in this regard.  The physical purification takes shorter time .  You'll need healer supervision and therapy or the other option is a weekly massage and join a yoga or meditation class.  More disciplined people can get DVDs from the library (for meditation and yoga).  What ever program you choose, stick with it.  Don't get discouraged when you go through a rough patch.  There are good and bad days relatively speaking.  Keep going, move forward and count milestones along the way, but don't dwell on the past. This will actually lower your vibration because you'll rehash painful situations and errors of judgement.

ST: This sounds like excellent advice, but a lot of work. How many people will pursue such a program? Addiction and denial seem comfortable to some people, like an old friend even if it abuses them.

SJ: There's that saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make her drink." It's worse with humans. The horse will eventually sort things out and drink from the trough.  But the addicted human might shun help and repeat a number of rationalizations.  "I'm not an addict just because I spend my day in an alcoholic stupor...I choose this..."

ST: Or does it choose them?

SJ: Well, now you're getting back into victim-thinking. Addiction=low vibration.  Raising the vibration heals the mind-body-spirit of addiction. We have already established this fact.  The body-mind-spirit longs for ecstasy--better to find that in prayer and meditation than drugs, (alcohol or other addictions).

Solstice: Let the Light Shine In

Transmission: Saint Jude

Happy Winter/Summer Solstice! This symbolizes light coming into the dark places.  You've heard this before and perhaps not thought much about it.  But what does it mean to shine light into the dark places? I think you can take your imagination in this direction and contemplate healing light.  What does this look like to you?

Imagine entering a dark room with only a flashlight in hand.  Shadows creep up on you, and you might shine your light on things that frighten you.  Perhaps there is a silent man in the room, that you didn't know was present until you shine your light on him.  This startles you.  It would startle anyone.  Well, think of the proverbial light dredging up all sorts of things and events you prefer not to notice.

Now instead of a flashlight, switch to a flood light.  Wow, now look at all the events and things you couldn't see before, hiding in the shadows, lurking in your deep subconscious.  Now, it's all coming up for you to assess, reevaluate, and heal.  But you can't do this unless you stay centered.  You can't do this unless you have faith in the power of light.  But you can't have faith in the power of light while also devoting yourself and your life to darkness or dark things.  So now is your time to choose.  Will you make the effort to walk towards and bathe in the light.  Or will you stay stuck in fear and perpetuate darkness on the earth? Your choice, but I tell you that I choose the light.

If you want to converse with saints and angels of light, then you must purge yourself of darkness. You must not shine only the flashlight, but shine the flood light.  You must walk away from darkness with determination.  Yes, I know the temptation and the lure into the dark underworld never ceases to amaze me.  It's magnetic, powerful, and charismatic.  Darkness portrays illusions, and pretends to satisfy your deepest desires, but does it really?

This time of year you celebrate diverse religious holidays.  The most famous is the birth of Yeshua.  This ritual is so famous, that even non-Christians feel drawn to the hope, and renewal brought with this symbolic birth.  Ancient astrologers followed the signs and a special star that fortold lightness shining into darkness.  As you light candles in a dark room, and watch the shadows dance across faces and walls, something primal stirs in you, the same primal urges that stirred in your ancestors of long ago. Lighting the Hanukkah candles or the Christmas tree also represent symbolic acts of the light. Some cultures light bonfires this time of year to signify hope and togetherness. 

And if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, light starts to wane right about now.  This is also a time to reflect on the power of the sun and the solar system.  This is a time to plant for harvest.  This is a time to give gratitude for all the light and love in your life.  This is a time of joy and simple pleasures, as the light decreases little by little each passing day.  And absorb the nourishing light of the sun.

We wish you a happy solstice.  May the light shine in all of you forever and eternity.

Prayer of Gratitude (Blessings for Food and Water and Air)

(When you eat a meal, cook a meal, drink a glass of water, take a bath, etc... bless the food, water, and all elementals with this prayer).

I thank all the loving hands that brought me this food or water.
I thank the earth and all of her creatures that participated in bringing me
this food or water.
I thank the seeds, the sprouts, the water, air, sun, moon, stars and all the planets
for bringing me this food or water.
I thank God in all Divine Wisdom and the Universe for bringing me this food or water.
And I send love out to all of these creatures and elementals, all the beings that made this meal or water possible (fill in the blank).
And I ask the love that I send out to spread like a virus filling every heart, every soul, and every mind of every being connected to me and this gift of life.
I ask this love that I send out to multiply a thousand-fold and to keep expanding and spreading joy, light, and goodness for all.

Saints Transmission: Yeshua and the Art of Defenselessness

Saint Jude Transmission: Defensive Acts Lead Only to More Fear

Yeshua, my companion and teacher didn't promote the concept of "an eye for an eye," and he would have never avenged anyone, not even the smallest creature that bit him.  Where did humanity go astray? Why are you always fighting so smugly among yourselves. Don't you see that since we are all One Being, a single entity, when you divide and conquer, you promote the growth of cancer cells.  When you promote the attitude of "us verses them" or "an eye for an eye," you are living in the illusion of duality. When you act this way you harm your immune system and throw your body out of balance, not to mention your mind.

Now Yeshua was an enlightened Master.  He knew the Oneness of All and he lived this concept daily, if not hourly.  He also lived a life of defenselessness.  Now, first, you're thinking people who live that way act like passive wimps.  They lack courage and that sort of thing.  But no, just the opposite.  A defenseless person lives in the Power of Love, not fear.  They see no reason to fight back, to live in the illusion of duality or to reap a karmic debt by attacking their "oppressor" simply because they don't live with the idea of oppressors and victims. They don't see themselves as victims.

Yeshua did not go to war with those that persecuted him. And it's not that he took the sins of the world in the way that it has been interpreted for thousands of years, instead, he revealed the secret of defenselessness.  He claimed that by not fighting back, by allowing the karmic debt to be paid through defenselessness, peace can be obtained.  Yes, the process is ugly, and painful, and there might be shortterm suffering.  If you believe in the idea of martyrdom, then you might play out a drama around that concept.  That gets old, (yawn).

Let me give you some more recent examples.  Yeshua and the saints don't consider Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. or John Lennon as martyrs, not at all.  Each of these beings, though not perfect in everyday life (none of them treated their wives with the respect they deserved), reached a level of enlightenment where they knew death was stalking them. And all three of these men chose not to fight back, not to go on the attack, because even if you kill someone or injure someone in self-defense, you reap a karmic debt.  You are bonded to that soul until you clear that debt.  Does that make sense?

God-Goddess only judges on the act, not the reason or rationalization of the act. We don't deal with children who whine, "he did it first..." That's just old news.  Your souls have lived many lives.  And in these lives you have killed others, you have poisoned others, you have starved many, you have cheated, betrayed and harmed others.  In other lives, you helped others through generosity and you might have even reached sainthood.  You might have served an entire lifetime and cleansed your karmic debt, only to become a warrior in your next life without seeking atonement. So then you wonder why you have so many persecutors in this lifetime!

So two thousand or so years after Yeshua preached the art of defenselessness, and thousands of years since Buddha taught humans about illusions and karma, humanity still struggles with this concept and grows more violent every day.  You thirst for violence and drama, you hunger for it and you're never satisfied so you keep upping the ante.  Your rationalizations no longer work, as if they ever did.  You must stop wars and by stopping wars, you also stop terrorism.  By making sure that everyone is fed, clothed and has proper shelter to protect them from the elements, then you will walk the road towards peace in the world.  By the way the only solution to terrorism is LOVE and COMPASSION. You are fools to think otherwise and you're spending millions of dollars on a solution that won't work.  Meanwhile, people are starving to death, and people are dying from preventable diseases, which you don't have money to help, or so you say that you don't.

You must stop all these useless wars and move past this place of victimhood and martyrdom.  All this drama is wearing us saints out.  It's a thriller by the minute, more paranoid fantasies leashed upon the world and money is spent on keeping this illusion going, instead of transmuting all this drama into compassion and love.  So if you find yourself in a position where you need to defend yourself, drop your arms, open your heart, and don't fight back.  Shine light on every cell in your body and every cell in the body of your attacker.  Know that it's all an illusion anyway.  You're attacking yourself because remember there is only One Being here.

So if you feel that the world is out to get you, then examine your thoughts, patterns, and beliefs. The world is not out to get you. If you look around you will find more evidence of love than of fear. As you develop consciousness, which you can't do if you're constantly on the defensive, you will only experience different faces of love.  You will feel called to love, and to spread compassion.  If you want to save the planet, and lose the illusion of duality, then you must take this necessary risk.  When you catch yourself acting defensive, stop.  Change your mind and change your heart.

Yeshua doesn't condone any war.  There is no good reason to go to war.  There are no good reasons to kill another being.  There are no good reasons to send millions of animals to slaughter houses so you can feast on the carnage.  This is not the act of an enlightened being, but a soul still living in darkness and rationalizing his fears. Animals for instance don't enjoy being killed and eaten, but at least demonstrate the act of defenselessness, especially cows.

If you find yourself or someone you love in an abusive situation, don't go on the attack. Don't judge the person, but get out of the situation and know that you can and will find shelter.  Send love and light to this abuser to the best of your ability and in time you will forgive, heal and move on, but never, never ever stay with an abuser.  Don't rationalize that you can't leave because you can. You must otherwise you enable the toxic behavior in the abuser.

Follow your intuition and don't stay or wallow in dark places.  Face your fears and learn how to love.  You can't do this if you feel dis-empowered so seek the help you need to build your confidence and empower yourself. Pray to the saints or Yeshua.  Pray for peace, love, and compassion to heal your situation.  And know on some level that you are paying off a karmic debt.  Nothing comes back to you to haunt you for no reason; there's history involved.  But that doesn't mean you should stick around and allow yourself to be beaten.  This is not what we mean by defenselessness. Use your brain that God gave you, and check in with your heart.

However, if you ever find yourself in a situation and you know it is your time to die, then surrender to it the way that Lennon, King, and Gandhi did and you'll clear your karmic debt.  Your soul never dies, it just spirals onward towards enlightenment, one step forward, three steps back, four steps forward.  I realize that this lesson will cause you to feel angry.  That's okay, work through that anger to a place of healing.

We love humanity.  We love this One Being that encompasses All of Us.  Love is real and everything else is just a cheap drama produced by a film director with a bottom line.  You can choose to buy into the drama, but believe me, it will end in disappointment.  Or you can finally comprehend that only Love is Real.  And Love, my dears, is the best show in town.

Why do you take yourselves so seriously? Do children take themselves too seriously? How can you solve the world's myriad of problems if you take yourself too seriously? How can you gain access to your imagination and creativity if your stuck in seriousness?

Oh, I know what you'll say, "Francesco and Clare, you are fools for love or you're just plain fools." But if you don't sing, dance, write poems, engage in community celebrations how will you get to know your neighbors, and how will you find your role in your community? I'm not saying that we should underestimate the gravity of our situation with the earth.  No, I'm not saying that at all.

But playing, (not the same as playing games), liberates the mind and unleashes the power of the heart. Brainstorming and playing creative games can provide answers to various problems you face. Laughter releases wrinkles from your skin and gives more flexibility to your joints.  Comedy, getting together with others and enjoying the gift of laughter should never be underestimated.  Share poetry, share songs, and dance even if you think you don't know how to dance.  Even a five year old knows how to dance so why do you say you have two left feet? Hmmm, two left feet, now that's interesting. 

Tell jokes, find the humor in life's circumstances.  Learn to play a musical instrument, learn to express your emotions through singing. Get together with friends and go for a hike.  Meditate with Buddhist monks for a change. Go to an event that you would have never gone to in the past, but think would be fun.  Hang out in a bookstore or go to a movie.  Share what you love with others.

If you think that friars and monks are serious people who never laugh, never joke, never dance for joy or revel in the beauty of the earth, then you're missing the point.  If you think spiritual leaders have no sense of humor, you are wrong again.  Anyone who takes themselves too seriously needs a gentle kick in the butt.  Laugh at your mistakes then learn from them.  Allow others to laugh at your mistakes and allow them to learn from them.

I made lots of mistakes in my lifetime.  Clare made lots of mistakes in her lifetime.  We had fun, oh, we had so much fun, playing the roles of Christ's fools.  Someone must play the role of the juggler, the fool for love troubadour.  If you must report dire news then at least find some humor in it.  Oh, I know, climate change is no laughing matter, but taking it seriously to the point of doom and gloom will only cause humans to fall deeper in denial.

It's through playing I tell you that you'll find solutions.  It's through the arts, and not so much the sciences that you will find true healing.  You may not believe these words now, but in time it will all make sense.  Arts aren't frivilous.  God created the creative spirit.  So dabble in it.  Paint, sculpt, draw, sing, compose, and write.  Play with children.  Laugh with children and listen to the wisdom of the child. After all, it's their future that you gamble away. Retrieve your state of innocence.  Purify your hearts and play.

Last but not least, if you want to help someone change their diet, cook for them. Show them the pleasure of eating healthy foods.  If you want someone to treat the earth better, model ecological friendly behavior in a fun way.  You must create a magnetic attraction to greener lifestyles.  Spread love, not fear.  Spread good humor and show others you can laugh at yourself as you evolve.
